For those of you reading up on the news, yes, there was an 6.8 earthquake in Japan last night, and yes I did feel it! I was asleep and felt the shaking, so I rolled out of bed and away from the windows towards the door. I am from California so I'm kinda used to these things, though. It was very minor shaking here, although I did have the quick thought, "Wow...I thought the Big One was supposed to hit the Bay Area! I forgot I have to worry about earthquakes here, too!" Then I also thought, "But wait!! My awesome earthquake preparedness kit is at home...not here!" (Thanks, Michelle S.!)
The shaking lasted less than a minute so I went back to bed...
